I was traveling up to Brainerd, Minnesota, and had a stop in Kansas City. So, I swung by and got some photos of three places where I used to live.
This place here is where we lived before me moved to Oskaloosa.
It has changed a bit, and the house is smaller. 
The place has hardly changed at all.
There were more of those silver trees up front which are now missing. The one that is there is really good sized now. I guess trees get bigger in 30 years. )
Missing a few trees…
It has changed a bit? And is smaller?
Is that just your adult perception or has it been changed?
It looks to me like the slope of the yard is not nearly as dramatic as I remember from my childhood. Same is true of the road. I remember it as a huge hill. Lol
Yes, smaller due to perception. As a kid, I didn’t remember it this small.
And the slope? When I was a kid I thought it was a lot!
When we drove on that street about 9 years ago during an ice storm, the street was pretty sloped to us! Is that the same swing we used to have?
